Saturday Snapshot

December 31, 2011

Today’s snapshot is from Christmas morning.  We were all gathered around the tree, ready to start opening gifts and Milou just couldn’t wait any longer – she had to see if Santa had left anything for her.

Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Alyce of At Home With Books.  It’s easy to participate – just post a picture that was taken by you, a friend, or a family member and add your link on Alyce’s site.

Did she find anything? At first I thought she was looking for a squirrel. One of the best Christmas photos ever.

Very cute, did she find anything under the tree worth eating?

  3. December 31, 2011 10:44 am

Milou looks like she was the kid on Christmas morning who couldn’t wait to get started! It was funny this year because the kids got so excited over their gifts that the dogs got excited as well, and they were jumping all over the place and barking and just having a grand old time. The Christmas spirit was contagious, I guess!

The server is still down for my site this morning – apologies for that! We’re thinking of maybe switching servers soon since the one we’re on has been having frequent problems (that they don’t even tell us about).

  21. December 31, 2011 3:40 pm

That’s fantastic. Our dog did a similar thing but we didn’t catch her in the act. She chose to inspect a pile of presents- somehow she ignored the boxes of chocolates and chew on a box that had cufflinks inside!

  22. December 31, 2011 3:48 pm

Haha she’s got her little snout right in there! So cute :)

That’s a great picture! My cat used to sleep under the tree (up by the lights, where it was warm). They can’t resist any better than the rest of us!

    My Paris pics are here.

  29. December 31, 2011 6:58 pm

So cute! My dog didn’t seem the least bit interested in the tree, but we couldn’t keep our cat away from it. She loved rubbing and biting on the limbs and candy canes!

So cute! Have a very happy New Year, Kathy!

  31. December 31, 2011 8:38 pm

  41. January 1, 2012 1:29 pm

How adorable! LOL My cats spent a lot of time under the tree before we put the gifts under. When my mom arrived from out of town and we had to finally put the gifts in their places, the cats were so annoyed. Their sleeping spot was gone!

  42. January 1, 2012 2:10 pm

How cute is she! I hope she found something nice under the tree. :)

  43. January 1, 2012 10:56 pm

  50. January 2, 2012 11:10 pm

Adorable! Max felt a little gyped this year ;) And Scout never plays with anything we buy for her.

  51. January 3, 2012 8:04 am

    So adorable!

We keep our dogs downstairs in the family room. I simply cannot imagine how they would destroy the gifts (not to mention the tree) if we allowed them to roam upstairs during the holidays.

Hope there were some lovely treats for Milou — and you :)

  52. January 5, 2012 11:10 am

    Such a cute photo!

  53. January 6, 2012 10:32 am

Oh gosh, this is such a cute picture. We skipped paper this year because Sam takes it, runs away, and eats it. Hopefully next year we can get back to a more normal time.
