Mailbox Monday

December 26, 2011

Mailbox Monday was created by Marcia of  A Girl and Her Books and is being hosted by Jenny of Let Them Read Books this month.   I can’t believe Christmas has come and gone and it’s the last Monday of the year – I hope it ends on a high note for everyone.   Here’s what I found in my mailbox last week:

    Wow, well done! My mum has read the Nicci French and highly recommends it. I haven’t read any of those – enjoy :)

    This should keep you busy until the new year. Lol! TBG and I like John Lescroart books. I’ll have to look into The Hunter. Have a fun last week of the year. Happy reading!

    Queen Elizabeth in the Garden looks fabulous. I am going to have to check that out when I head to the bookstore this week. My mom would love the book.

    I’m seeing Blue Monday a lot. I haven’t read one of her books in a while. Will be waiting for your review before deciding if I purchase it or not.

    What a great mailbox! The Cupcakes book is a great one to experiment this time of year. When my kids are off from school all they want to do is bake and do arts and crafts.

    Fantastic mailbox! I got The Crown too but am really interested in Iago. Nicole Galland has one coming out called I, Iago as well. Enjoy your new books!

    Great mailbox! The cupcake cookbook sounds like fun. Baked treats are always nice this time of year! Isn’t it crazy to think the year is gone by? This one just flew by!

    Lots of interesting looking books there! I read The Way We Fall as an e-galley and enjoyed it. I want to read The Technologists, but had to turn down an offer for book tour because life is too busy right now.

    I’m reading RUNNING THE RIFT now — it’s so good! A real sense of time/place; I had to put it down for a few days over the holidays (too busy to concentrate).

    I hope to read THE TECHNOLOGISTS … I think it will appeal to J as well.
