Saturday Snapshot
September 24, 2011
When we were at SIBA last weekend, Heather, Sandy, Swapna, and I ran into Tom Franklin on the showroom floor. Of course, we had to gush chat for a while and tell him how much we loved Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter.
Saturday Snapshot is hosted by Alyce of At Home With Books. It’s easy to participate – just post a picture that was taken by you, a friend, or a family member and add your link on Alyce’s site.

I am so jealous I couldn’t visit SIBA this year! SO AWESOME you got to meet Tom Franklin, too!! Will see you all next year
Tom was such a gentleman and so fun to talk to. I love that he is so enamored of his wife and has such sweet things to say about her. Loved getting the chance to meet him!
How wonderful, Kathy. I know you guys had such a good time at SIBA. I still have to read CROOKED LETTER, CROOKED LETTER, but I hope to this winter. Thanks for sharing! All you guys look lovely (well, Tom does too but maybe handsome is better).
I was sorry I couldn’t be there with y’all. Great pics, I’m glad it was a fun weekend!

How awesome that you got to meet Tom Franklin. Lovely pictures!
How fun to get to meet the author and hang out with those lovely ladies! I’m supposed to have a copy of Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter heading my way from a contest win. I’m curious to see if it will be my cup of tea – I’ve heard great things about it though!
I bet SIBA was a lot of fun. One of these days my schedule will allow me to attend an event like that.
Sounds like an exciting day!
Pretty ladies! Looks like you had a fantastic time.
Looks like you all had fun! I haven’t read Crooked Letter but the reviews sound great!
People having fun makes for great pix!
I love that man, I really do. I would have seriously spent my kids college funds to get him to dinner with us, but it wouldn’t have been fair I don’t think. When I first saw him standing there talking to Nancy Pate, I almost threw up, but got over it real fast.
so nice! i love seeing my blogging friends getting together in real life. hope you guys had a great time.
How fun to meet up at SIBA! And then the bonus of meeting authors like Tom Franklin – icing on the cake. I loved Crooked Letter.
