Mailbox Monday

Things continue to be busy around here, so time is flying by even faster than usual.  I can’t believe it’s Monday again.  That means it’s time to take a peek in my mailbox!  Mailbox Monday was created by Marcia of A Girl and Her Books and is being hosted by Mari of MariReads this month.   Here’s what showed up  in my mailbox last week:

    You had a good mailbox week. I have been looking at that Erik Larson book. I think it is going to be really good. I hope you like it. I happened to see it on Goodreads. I like the title This Burns My heart. Although, I don’t know anything about the book. I bet it’s good too. Enjoy~

    Argh! I so want the Steven Tyler book and the Erik Larson book. Unfortunately, the Tyler book is not on audio. I was hoping.

    Lots of great titles this week. I too am expecting The Homecoming of Samuel Lake from Library Thing; I will look for your thoughts on that one, and the others.

    I am particularly “jealous” of the Steven Tyler book – I didn’t realize it was on audio. I assume he narrates it?

      It’s actually read by Jeremy Davidson, but features a conversation with Steven Tyler.

    I’m waiting for The Homecoming of Samuel Lake from LibraryThing and I’m dying to read the new Larson book. I loved his book about the serial murderer in Chicago during the 1893 World’s Fair.

    I wondered the same about the Steven Tyler audiobook – nice that an interview w/him is included. He’s brilliant (a bit rambling, but brilliant).

    That new Erik Larson book looks fantastic!

    I didn’t know Libba Bray had a new book coming out but I am now looking forward to it. I’m curious to hear what you think of Steven Tyler’s book. I hope you like it because it will give me a reason to buy it!
