Mailbox Monday

May 9, 2011

I had a great time visiting my mom and came home to a couple books.  Things have been so busy lately, that time is flying by even faster than usual.  I can’t believe it’s Monday again.  That means it’s time to take a peek in my mailbox!  Mailbox Monday was created by Marcia of A Girl and Her Books and is being hosted by Mari of MariReads this month.   Here’s what showed up  in my mailbox last week:

Do you actually agree to review all of these books that come your way or are they sent to you blind?

  59. May 11, 2011 6:34 pm

I just LOVE the bookworm! Amy Stewart’s books are such fun reading.

We were able to hear Melissa Coleman read a bit of THIS LIFE IS IN YOUR HANDS at a NEIBA meeting last month. She said she HAD to write it (to process her childhood) when her own children got to be about the age her sister was when the accident happened.

  60. May 12, 2011 5:23 pm

I read The Most Beautiful Walk in the World during my honeymoon on the train up to Paris. It was a wonderful book and really made me more aware of the Paris literary lifestyle. I hope you enjoy it. It was a perfect guide to use when walking around the Latin Quarter.

  61. May 14, 2011 10:57 am

All these books are new to me and I’m green with envy, Kathy. It’s been a long, long time since I bought books. I did get a healthy dose of free books on Kindle, though. And bought three yesterday.
