Mailbox Monday

I still get a little thrill every single time a new book arrives at my doorstep, and am thankful for everyone who takes the time to send one my way.  Mailbox Monday was created by Marcia of A Girl and Her Books and is being hosted by Amy of Passages to the Past for the month of April.   Here’s what showed up  in my mailbox last week:

    Hi Kathy,

What a fantastic selection of books this weeks, so many differing genres, a real eclectic mix.

All new authors to me, apart from the Andrea Levy, but I particularly like the sound of the Watson book ‘Before I Go To Sleep’, that’s a definite for the wish list.

There are just so many new books and authors out there, that it is difficult to keep up with them all!!!

  2. April 25, 2011 5:51 am

What a nice set of books. Happy reading!

  9. April 25, 2011 7:36 am

Yeah, I still get a thrill too! You would think that they would get old, but they don’t.

  10. April 25, 2011 7:40 am

    Wow…great set of books.

I will be looking forward to your review of LONG SONG.

TEN BEACH ROAD sounds good too.

I feel the same sense of excitement when a book shows up on my doorstep. While my pile does not often look like yours from this week I feel most fortunate.

In fact, I have formed a first name relationship with post woman and UPS 6:00 pm delivery guy because of it. I think they wondered what was in bags until we chatted.

  40. April 25, 2011 4:03 pm

Such a lovely pile o’books! And mostly new-to-me. Enjoy! :)
