Mailbox Monday
September 12, 2010
I can’t believe another week has flown by! Mailbox Monday was created by Marcia of The Printed Page and is now on tour. I’m thrilled to be the host of this fun meme for the month of September! According to Marcia, “Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week. Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.”
This is what I found in my mailbox last week:
Tuesday
- Me, Myself and Why? By Mary Janice Davidson was a win from St. Martin’s Press
Wednesday
Thursday
- Ah-CHOO by Jennifer Ackerman was a win from CMash Loves to Read
- City of Tranquil Light by Bo Caldwell came from Library Thing Early Reviewers
Friday
- Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins came from Scholastic
- Falling Home by Karen White came from Joan Schulhafer Publishing and Media Consulting
- Life After Yes by Aidan Donnelley Rowley was a win from Justice Jennifer Reads
Saturday
- Tears of the Mountain by John Addiego was a win from Unbridled Books
- Stranger Here Below by Joyce Hinnefeld was a win from Unbridled Books
- Pun Enchanted Evenings by David R. Yale was a win from Metroreader
What books came into your home last week? If you’re participating in Mailbox Monday today, please add a link to your post on Mr. Linky.

Seems that your Mailbox gets better each week! You are on a lucky roll and the wins make it even sweeter! Ah ha see Mockingjay… so you’re going to have to read the first 2 and finish the 3rd like myself

Another great week of books.

Love the Sunday post…a lot easier for me and I am sure a lot of folks instead of scrambling Monday morning before work.

Another great week for you! Hope you enjoy Mockingjay. There’s been loads of debate about it
Such a wonderful mailbox! Enjoy them all and happy hosting this month.
Falling Home arrived at my house this week too. I wasn’t expecting it, and I didn’t know how to react. Excited because I just love her, and I also wanted to rip out my hair because I don’t have enough time in the day to read what I want! And of course I’ll have to read this soon because I just have to.
You sure win a lot of books! What fun for you!
You always get great ones. I would also like to read Life After Yes.
Cool! I actually had a bunch of stuff come through the door this week, so I’ll post about it tomorrow. Looking good! That stack is great!
You got some great titles, as usual! I’m curious about the Davidson, I think it’s the start of a new series–will look forward to what you think about it!
A great week again for you last week! You already know how excited I am about “Life After Yes”…

Wow – that’s a lot of wins!! Enjoy your books!!
Oops–hit “enter” too soon. If you want to add “Books” to my title in the linky, that would be great. If not, that’s fine
Your books are always so nicely spaced out. I am not complaining about all the books that come in my house, but I have had many many sad mailbox days lately.
Kathy,
Thanks for hosting this month. Please delete my link in spot #11 of the Mr Linky, I accidentally hit enter before I changed the link from last week that auto-filled so #12 is the correct link for this weeks list.
Thanks Kathy for fixing my uh-oh on the links.
Wow, you always have amazing books! I hope you enjoy the Hunger Games series. I read In Hovering Flight by Joyce Hinnefeld and really enjoyed it. I’ll be looking for your review on the new book. Have a great week!
