Yes, I know it’s Sunday – I’m posting a day early since I’m participating in a book tour tomorrow, and I don’t want to miss out on this fun meme.   Mailbox Monday was created by Marcia of The Printed Page and is now going on tour – the host for this month is Chick Loves Lit – click over there if you want to join in the fun or see who else is participating this week.  This is what I found in my mailbox last week:

  2. August 15, 2010 6:49 am

You needed to post early because of your abundant mailbox. Lol

  3. August 15, 2010 7:40 am

I’m curious about The Blessings of the Animals, so I look forward to reading your post on it.

Too funny! I was like — it’s Sunday! I think you got some great books. I’ve heard good things about quite a few of them.

I, like Julie, had a moment of panic there! And I too am really interested in The Blessings of the Animals – can’t wait to hear your take on it!

The Blessings of the Animals interest me. We have a festival called Maatu Pongal in honor of cattle. Cattle on this day are decorated, fed special mixtures, and garlanded.

I also like to see what Nanny McPhee returns is about. You’ve got a huge haul . Enjoy.

A fun bunch of books there! It must be like Christmas every day in your mailbox. :) Mine is only occasionally like that, but when it is I do the happy dance.

  15. August 15, 2010 1:20 pm

Half the time I don’t know what day it is anyway, so no worries. I really want to read Bad Marie. As I’ve been telling Nicole, I had about three nights of dreams that included Bad Marie who was bullying me.

  16. August 15, 2010 1:23 pm

I’ve been out of the loop for awhile this summer with new books and see that you got some great looking titles. I’m looking forward to your reviews.

The Devil’s Acre by Matthew Plampin
Obstacles to Young Love by David Nobbs
The Eleventh Plague by Darren Craske
Bob Marley The Untold Story by Chris Salewicz
