Mission Accomplished: Whats in a Name 3 Challenge

I’m happy to report that I’ve completed another challenge!  I found the What’s in a Name 3 Challenge to be loads of fun – trying to fit books I was reading into the different categories was like solving a puzzle.   Here’s what I read:

  1. A book with a food in the title:  I Loved, I Lost, I Made Spaghetti by Giulia Melucci
  2. A book with a body of water in the title:  The Ocean Between Us by Susan Wiggs
  3. A book with a title (queen, president) in the title:  Miss Julia Renews Her Vows by Ann B. Ross
  4. A book with a plant in the title:  Bamboo People by Mitali Perkins
  5. A book with a place name (city, country) in the title:   The Little Giant of Aberdeen County by Tiffany Baker
  6. A book with a music term in the title:   How to Knit a Love Song by Rachael Herron

I’m looking forward to participating in this challenge again next year and can’t wait to see what the new categories will be.

Good job. I’m not sure how I am going to do on this one because I have sort have been reading what I want and have not encountered a lot of the required titles.

Congratulations. I’m also doing this challenge. I have yet to select a book with a music term. Wonderful selection of books.

That’s a really cool idea for a challenge and a great way to broaden your reading scope. I haven’t read any of those but I am a big fan of Susan Wiggs. Good job on completing it and thanks for visiting my Mailbox!

Congratulations! This is such a great challenge, even though at first I thought it might be rather arbitrary, I’ve loved what I’ve read and reading the reviews of others’.

Congrats to you Kathy! I’ve been having a problem fitting a book into my schedule with a body of water. Still working on it!

Congratulations, Kathy! I can only do the simplest of challenges. I read The Little Giant a while ago.

Wow, that is cool. I think half the fun is figuring out which books to read that will fit the categories!

Good for you Kathy. You did great. I think this is one of the toughest challenges. I’m only half-way through.

This sounds like such a fun challenge. I don’t know why I didn’t participate this year, except that I overdid things. I fear my TBR Challenge is going to crash and burn if I don’t get down to business. Way to go Kathy!
