Great books this week! I hope you like Turtle in Paradise, I did. I’ve heard good things about Think of a Number and I’m waiting on The I Hate to Cook Cookbook. Happy reading!
Read the I Hate to Cook Book by Peg Bracken. It is wonderful fun and a good counter to those perfectionist cooks who have to have just the right shade of Arabian seaweed in their salads.
You had a great week! Looks like you have some good mystery reading for a while.
Some of these are new to me. The Life You’ve Imagined and the cookbook were in my mailbox too. Enjoy!
I think it was Jenners that recently reviewed Think of a Number. I’m interested.
You always have such a nice collection of interesting books to post on Mondays. It must seem like Christmas every day you go to the mailbox
These all look quite interesting. I just received my audio book of PRIVATE and I’m looking forward to listening to it. Can’t wait to see which books you enjoyed the most out of your stack.

The I hate to Cook Book was in my mailbox as well this week, definitely one that appeals to me! A Slender Thread, is one that I’ve not heard of and I love the cover and the story sounds appealing to me. I’m adding it to my wishlist.
Everyone seems to be getting I hate to cook! Lucky you (and them!)
Hope you enjoy reading your new books. You’ve plenty to get through.

Well, not in my mailbox, but on my bookshelf, among the (many) books on my shelves that are still to be read, in spite of the fact that I still keep buying and borrowing from the library. I’ve finally gotten around to reading the first of Cara Black’s mysteries set in Paris, Murder in the Marais. So far, so good.
What a great week. I’m curious about ACCOMPLICE!
I have a book called The Slender Thread that I got from a library sale years ago… I am sure that it’s not the same book that you mentioned in this post, but it did make me so a double take!! Enjoy your new reads!!
“A Slender Thread” looks good! Enjoy all of your new books! I have no idea how you keep up with them all, LOL. I’m always grateful for the weeks when I get one or two books because I get a chance to catch up
I haven’t heard about any of these yet. I hope you enjoy them!
Great books Kathy. I also got Think of a Number. I was able to pick up Accomplice at BEA so that is on my shelf to read as well.
Happy Reading
I am thinking The I Hate to Cook book was meant for me!!! Enjoy them all.
Lucky you getting the I Hate to Cook Book. Your other ones look good too especially Alibi and Private. Have a great week, happy reading and enjoy all your new books!

You have a few books that I’ve got my eyes on. Alibi is one of them. I hope you enjoy it. Happy Reading Kathy and thanks for passing by again.
Great looking mailbox. The Disappearing Spoon is a book I’m wanting to read. Have a great week of reading.

Nice stack. A Slender Thread looks great.
A Slender Thread and The Life You Imagined both look good. I think I need to get The I Hate To Cook Cookbook. I’m always looking for quick meal ideas. Enjoy all your great looking books!
Awesome week! Happy reading and cooking!
What a fun stack of books! I am interested to hear what you think of the I Hate to Cook Book!
I’ll fight Bibliophile By the Sea for the I Hate to Cook book! LOL
What a great selection of books! Looking forward to your reviews.
Good books, I bet Alibi is good.
Holy smoke, woman. You get more books than most two people combined. I am in awe of you! (and if your TBR now looks like mine, I won’t be surprised. But I DO have this impression that you’re reasonably on top of things. Reasonably, I said.)
Now that’s what I call a great LOOT! Hmmm will have to spin through your list and envy you for the I Hate to Cook Book
Let me know how this figures in your books of reviews.
Have a great week and hope you had a chance to drink the cherry tequilas I left for you at Aisle B. I left them next to the Rakes
I knew you came since the Rakes are still pining for your return
The I Hate To Cook Books sounds quite intriguing. Nice title at the very least
I’ve not read any of the books you received but you got a few that I’ve heard of! Please stop by My Own Little Corner of the World and see what landed here this past week! Happy reading!
Some really good ones. Is that cookbook an update from the 60s (or was it 70s?) version?
I’ve seen the I Hate To Cook Book on a few blogs. I’ll be looking forward to your review. Happy reading!
Before I went to BEA, I couldn’t imagine receiving so many books to have a pile each week to do a Mailbox Monday meme about – now? I think it’s time I start doing this meme!
I couldn’t help but notice you’re reading Messenger of Athens. I put it on my nightstand (It’s been a while since I reviewed a Reagan Arthur book) but keep skipping over it for something else. I can’t wait to see what you think of it.
It must be Christmas in July, Kathy. Wow!
Here is my little mailbox: http://suko95.blogspot.com/2010/07/mailbox-monday-im-back.html

The I HATE TO COOK BOOK??! Sounds like a great solution for week nights.
that is one whopping big pile.
Oh … I think you’ll like “Think Of A Number.”
And my mom had the Peg Bracken book when I was a kid … is this a reissue or something?
I got a copy of The Disappearing Spoon too – I can’t wait to read it!
Great set of books again this week! My mailbox is pretty slow these days.
You have such a nice stack. I actually received several that I haven’t had a chance to blog about yet. Hopefully I’ll get a Mailbox Monday scheduled to go out next week while I am on my vacation.
Wow, wow, wow, a great pile of books in the mailbox. Is the mailbox still in working order or leaning to one side? ::)) Have fun~
Hi Kathy, I really want to try James Patterson’s books one day. You have a great mailbox this week!
