Mailbox Monday

May 10, 2010

It’s Monday!  That means it’s time for one of my favorite memes, Mailbox Monday, hosted by Marcia of  The Printed Page.  Check out Marcia’s blog if you want to participate or see what everyone else got last week.  Between books in my mailbox and author events, I had a very bookish week.  I welcomed these books into my home last week:

  8. May 10, 2010 7:52 am

Holy smoke, woman! Fifteen books! I used to get that many in a MONTH — and that’s how I wound up with such a big TBR mountain range. How do you manage all this?

And it seems I’m a few books behind in the Chris Bohjalian world. Figures. I just can’t read fast enough!

  9. May 10, 2010 8:10 am

  22. May 10, 2010 10:54 am

It looks like you won the lottery. I think you are going to have to take a retreat and do nothing but read, read, read. Not a bad idea.

  23. May 10, 2010 11:13 am

I also have to review “Damaged” and “Higher Education” and will find interesting what we both think of these 2 books.

  25. May 10, 2010 11:58 am

I am late in my rounds today!!! I used to read alot of Alex Kava, but have not recently. I think it was probably a series, if I’m not mistaken. About a woman who sculpts heads from skulls to ID dead bodies? I don’t know. Too many of those to keep track of!

  26. May 10, 2010 12:19 pm

Wow! You received a ton of great books!! I also have After the Fall and am anxious to get started. Enjoy all of your goodies and I will be anxious to hear your thoughts on them!

  27. May 10, 2010 12:28 pm

  28. May 10, 2010 12:57 pm

Great mailbox this week! Mine was empty alas, but I’m looking on the bright side of things. It means that my TBR pile didn’t grow at all last week.

  36. May 10, 2010 3:24 pm

When I first saw the picture to your post, the word “wow” escaped my mouth. You’ve gotten so many books, and the spine of the book all the way to the right looks especially colourful. I wonder what your thoughts are for The Book of Awesome. I’m thinking of getting myself a copy. Happy reading! =)
