Mailbox Monday

March 28, 2010

Yes, I do know today’s Sunday, but Mailbox Monday is one of my favorite memes, so I didn’t want to skip it and I’m hosting a blog tour tomorrow.  Since Marcia of  The Printed Page puts her link up early, I decided I would too, just this week, so I don’t overwhelm you with posts tomorrow.   Head on over to Marcia’s blog to see what everyone else got last week or to join in the fun.   These are the books came into my house last week:

Read, Remember, Recommend sounds like it’ll come in handy!

  2. March 28, 2010 7:02 am

Great! I don’t know which book is the best. I don’t mind taking any one off your hands.:) I want to read The Postmistress so badly. Enjoy all of your treasure.

  3. March 28, 2010 7:19 am

I hope you enjoy CM Mayo’s book. I really liked it but it is heavy on history.

I’m glad you received the audiobook of Venetia Kelly’s Traveling show. You’ll have to let me know how you like delaney reading his own work.

  4. March 28, 2010 8:37 am

I haven’t read a John Sanford book in so long….And the same goes for David Baldacci. That saying is so true…so many books, so little time

Our Hart is sooooo excellent! Storm Prey is one The Big Guy would love. I’ll have to be on the lookout for that one. Enjoy your Sunday.

  6. March 28, 2010 8:39 am

Oh, you’re so lucky to have won Venetia Kelly’s Traveling Show! I don’t do audio but I really want to read that one.

  7. March 28, 2010 8:55 am

Nice list and some great wins!

  8. March 28, 2010 9:16 am

Kathy, lots of good one. I love Read, Remember, Recommend and hope to review it today; it is really great!

    Enjoy your books.

  9. March 28, 2010 9:33 am

I am looking forward to receiving my Storm Prey soon…I love that series! Lucas Davenport is THE DUDE! I also just reviewed Read, Review Recommend (coming April 2) – it is like a reader’s dream come true!

  10. March 28, 2010 9:48 am

    Read, Remember, Recommend looks interesting!

  11. March 28, 2010 11:55 am

You get so many great books each week! It makes me wonder how many bookshelves you have. :) I so much want to buy more bookshelves but we don’t really have wall space without doing some drastic re-arranging. I’m thinking I’m going to have to start getting more creative with my book storage.

  12. March 28, 2010 12:15 pm

What a great diverse list. Read, Remember, Recommend sounds useful, The Bradshaw variations sounds interesting, and Jane’s Fame seems like a nice take on studying Miss Austen.

  13. March 28, 2010 12:17 pm

So many books! I’m also wondering where you stash them all? :) Or you must be a really fast reader? Hee hee!

Jane’s Fame catches my eye, have a good week!

  14. March 28, 2010 12:18 pm

Like the look of your books!

    Mondays: Mailbox and all!

  15. March 28, 2010 1:00 pm

I’ve never read the Prey series by Sandford. Though it’s been on my mind for quite a while now. Enjoy your books!

  16. March 28, 2010 1:17 pm

As always, I love looking at your books that came for you!!

  17. March 28, 2010 1:20 pm

My goodness, I would be overwhelmed by that many books in the mail. I only got three last week and I am hoping to get to them in a timely manner – especially when so much yard work is calling my name!

As usual I’m wondering where you’re stashing all these books. Our Hart was really good – I can’t remember if you read My Splendid Concubine or not. If you did, it’s even more enjoyable.

  19. March 28, 2010 1:58 pm

Jane’s Fame sounds great! Have fun with all of those books!

  20. March 28, 2010 2:25 pm

It’s always fun to stop by and see what you got in your mailbox. My husband would be totally jealous that you got a Baldacci book. He’s started reading his books. Right now, he’s reading The Camel Club.

  23. March 28, 2010 3:28 pm

I was worrying for a minute that you had got confused with the days! You always have such a fabulous selection of books.

  24. March 28, 2010 4:18 pm

Kathy some great books and wins you got this past week.

I am waiting for the Read, Remember and Recommend to come in perhaps this week.

Enjoy your books and looking forward to your reviews.

  25. March 28, 2010 4:27 pm

Enjoy Venetia Kelly’s Traveling Show. I read this book and loved it but I have heard that Delaney’s reading voice is excellent and that it really adds to his audiobooks. Hope you like it!

  26. March 28, 2010 5:02 pm

Wow, you have a treasure trove of books!

I’m early this week, too. Here’s mine:

I’ve seen Read, Remember and Recommend around the blog world. It looks like a book that I would like to read — I’m always looking for more advice as to what to read.

  44. March 29, 2010 9:20 am

Jane’s Fame sounds really good. I hope you enjoy Venetia Kelly as much as I did. Happy reading!

  49. March 29, 2010 1:43 pm

I got “Read, Remember, Recommend” last week and love it!!!! Enjoy!

  50. March 29, 2010 3:59 pm

David Baldacci writes the most fast paced novels. They almost seem like a film to me! Have a wonderful time with your books.

  51. March 29, 2010 4:00 pm

Nice mailbox, Kathy! I do hope that you enjoy Our Hart. It was a really interesting read, although I had some problems with the female lead!

  52. March 29, 2010 4:27 pm

My husband is a David Baldacci fan. Let me know if this is a must get for him. I know that he is currently reading a nonfiction book, so I have at least another week before he needs a new book.

  53. March 29, 2010 4:50 pm

I received Shadow Prey for the TLC book tour and you have just reminded me that I need to blog about that!

  57. March 29, 2010 8:05 pm

    Great mailbox! Enjoy your books.

  58. March 29, 2010 9:34 pm

I am soooo jealous of Storm Prey! I love the Prey series and I was lucky enough to meet John Sanford at a signing a few years ago and get a couple of mine autographed. I’m looking forward to the review!

  59. March 29, 2010 10:27 pm

Read, Remember, Recommend sounds good but from the descriptions it sounds better for those who read lots of fiction rather than me.

  60. March 29, 2010 10:53 pm

Looks like a busy week for your mailbox Kathy. Enjoy your reads.

  61. March 31, 2010 2:23 am

I love the Prey series by John Sandford. Would love to read your review on how this one measures up for you.

  62. April 1, 2010 8:21 pm

    I love John Sandford!
