Everyone in high school loved The Things They Carried. I hope you do too.

Another great haul! Enjoy all your new books
Not long ago I bought The Things They Carried on my Kindle for the Vietnam Challenge. I’ve heard it is excellent and I can’t wait to read it.
The messanger of Athens comes across as a different kind of read. As I love anything Mediterranian, it intrigues me.
Only two picture books in my mailbox this week.
What a great stack of books. Enjoy!
I received The Danish Girl as well and look forward to the TLC book tour. I read and reviewed The Weight of Heaven and was so impressed with Ms. Umrigar’s writing. I hope that you like it. It’s not the most uplifting book but the writing is beautiful. I am hoping to be part of the Blog Talk Radio discussion as well.
Very nice crop – but then again you always have a nice one
. I’m curious about Rankin’s book. I loved Rebus.

I just went over to amazon to check out The Danish Girl. It looks very engrossing, so I ordered a sample for my Kindle. I also just finished The Weight of Heaven for a book tour and thought that it was a very haunting read. I think you are going to like it and am looking forward to hearing what you have to say about it.
Wow! So many good books! I haven’t read any of these yet so I look forward to hearing what you think of them. Hope you have a great week! Enjoy!!
Great week! I am seriously jealous of all of your awesome loot! Happy reading!

Great books you have there, Kathy! I seem to be seeing BLACK HILLS every where I go. Happy reading!
Well, I don’t think you got nearly enough books
You have quite the hook up with Hachette, don’t you?
The Weight of Heaven!
I love the cover and title for the Pattern of Paper Monsters, but I can’t find a summary of it sadly.
I’m a part of the Danish Girl tour too. It looks great!!
What a great selection. I’m looking forward to your reviews.
I loved The Weight of Heaven, I can’t wait to see what you think of it. I have The Danish Girl from the library right now-I really hope I get to it before it’s due, I have quite a stack to get through. That’s a lot of books in one week. Enjoy.
Fun books! I’m thinking I need to make some time in my schedule to be part of some book tours again. So many books – so little time.
I haven’t heard of any of these before. I hope you enjoy them!
