Retail Anarchy sounds very interesting. I often wonder the same thing except in New York it’s more like $5 for a cup of tea or coffee. Especially when out at a restaurant for dinner.
Retail Anarchy jumped out at me as well.
Guillermo Del Torro! The Strain sounds awesome.
Sounds like a good week. Into the Beautiful North looks good. Enjoy your reading!
Nada. Zip. Zilch. That’s what I got this week, *a tear rolls down my cheek…..
I’m really hoping I get The Strain, I do so love a good vampire tale. I’m also hoping I score Big Sid’s Vincati, since I’ve been around a crazy motorcycle guy for the last thirty years, who actually does things like take an old Honda SL350 and turn it into a cafe racer!
Good week! Retail Anarchy sounds good.
Yes, you counted my books right – 18. I thought things were going to slow down b/c I’ve quit requesting for awhile, but who knows? You got some good ones – enjoy!!
Great list of books….Del Toro has a book…cool!
I have been waiting on The Local News….looks great!
Oooh I wonder if I will get Retail Anarchy too, it sounds very interesting!
You got some good books Kathy. I got Local news from the meet up on Sunay. Fingers crossed that I get The Strain and the retail one. Hope you have a good week.
The Local News sounds wonderful! You got a great variety!

Great list Kathy. I have been waiting on The Local News and hope that I get a copy.
It sounds like you have a great set of books!
Looks like you got a lot of good books there. Enjoy!
I’ve been drawn to the subject in *The Local News*, hoping it’s a good one!
Your memoir (*Confessions of a Former Child*) and *Retail Anarchy* have got me interested … I love a good non-fiction book!
What a lot of good books! I think Into the Beautiful North sounds great!
The Strain looks so awesome…I’m just a little jealous
Great pile!! I can’t wait to read your reviews. Into the Beautiful North is gorgeous.
I’m anxious to hear about INTO THE BEAUTIFUL NORTH!
I received The Strain also…looks great.
Have fun reading your great stack.:)
I’m amazed at how many books you touch each week.
You had a great week, too! I also received The Strain and The Local News. Now, I just need the time to read them…
These look like a lot of fun! The only one I’ve heard of is The Local News (because I saw it on Shelf Awareness). I look forward to reading more about these books when you post reviews!
The retail anarchy one and the therapist’s memoir sound intriguing to me. I’ll be curious to see what you think … but the retail one actually sounds good enough for me to check out right now … I am a sucker for these types of books for some reason.
Enjoy your new books! I’m still on a strict book diet right now so I’m only getting library books these days.
Still hoping I will get The Strain…
I said yes to confessions of a former child but haven’t received it yet. I hope it’s coming!
I got The Strain too! I can’t wait to get started on that one.
Retail Anarchy certainly caught my eye Kathy! I’m really curious on that one now.

Retail Anarchy sounds intriguing. Happy reading!
I never thought of posting the books I get in the mail on my blog, but I’ve noticed a lot of people are doing that now. I guess I’ll start keeping track and post them next week!
I was just on the retail anarchy website and I can’t stop laughing. Check out this post for example:

Retail Anarchy sounds intersting, the blog is hysterical.
I’ll have to check out the Retail Anarchy blog. As usual, you have an interesting mix of books, Kathy!
These sound interesting. I’m looking forward to your reviews. Hope you enjoy them!

The Local News sounds good – I will have to watch for that one. I just got The Strain this week so it will be on my list on Monday. It sounds good too!
Great titles! I keep hearing about Local News. I look forward to reading the reviews. Enjoy!
