Trish at Hey Lady! Whatcha Readin’? did this fun meme where you’re assigned a letter and have to come up with 10 things that you love that start with that letter. I decided to give it a shot and she kindly assigned me the letter “P”. The way this meme works, you have to leave a comment if you want to get tagged. So, here’s my list of my favorite things that start with the P:
- Peanut Butter M & M’s – For me they are the perfect candy – how can you beat chocolate and peanut butter in a candy shell?
- Playing games – I love to play games like Uno, Cribbage, Mexican Train Dominoes and Bunco. Did I mention that I like to win, too?
- Puppies - I really like most animals, but who can resist a cute little cuddly puppy? (That’s Milou with Vance when we brought her home 13 years ago.)
Paperback books – Well, I really love books in general, but books doesn’t start with a P and paperback does.- Plates – Really any kind of dishes. I would be embarrassed to let you know how many sets of dishes we own, and I’ve recently started collecting a new set.
- Pasta – I love spaghetti and other pasta dishes.
- Public transportation – I would rather take the bus or metro – unfortunately I can’t where I live.
- Paris, France – What a great city to explore! (Forgive me for my outfit – it was 1992.)
Pomegranates – I have peeling and eating these down to a science.

Great choices, Kathy! Milou and Vance are both adorable in that picture. I actually prefer paperback books, but I think I’m weird in that – and I can’t wait to go to Paris. =)
I love the photo of Milou and Vance. And well, who can argue with any of the other items? Paris, pasta, plates . . . P was a good letter.

Pomegranites are our favorite fruit around here. Their season is too short! Milou looks absolutely edible in that picture.
Puppies are my favorite! And I love pomegranates, but I’m no expert on peeling them. I need to learn!

I love public transportation too, and there is none here. My week in DC without getting in the car once was heaven. I’m sure I’d eventually hate it but it would take a while.
